Well, to sum it up - I have went from 13% body fat to 10.5%. I don't have much left to lose before I start looking like a guy.
Someone at the gym today called me Speedy G. when I was running.
I don't think I have ever been called that in my life. In fact, I know I haven't.

Start of Week 11
I have got to get caught up. We have been hit with nearly two solid weeks of bad weather and I haven't made it to the gym much because of it.
This week, we are back to normal.
I am still struggling with the diet. Ever since I have started having cheat meals again, I don't feel well. I did space this one out to be 2 weeks apart, but still feel yucky this morning.
I am going back on the Slim4Life cleanse this week and I think I am going to stick more to their guidelines at least for a few weeks to see how I feel.
The downside of this is I basically have to make up my diary for the gym, since they would find the Slim4Life plan unacceptable.
I do sort of look forward to finishing my 20 weeks and moving on to working out on my own. There are things I like about the gym, but their views on nutrition are pretty limited.

End of Week 9 - Amy
Well, one more week and I will be halfway through the program. This week 2 days cardio, 2 days weights. I also ran yesterday at home after doing weights.
I plan to run another 5k either saturday or sunday to get some extra cardio in.
I am still up 5/6 pounds, but I have googled and it seems if you are lifting that it's normal to gain 1-2 pounds per month of muscle, so I highly doubt it's fat I have gained.
I feel pretty good. I am still working on the dreaded muffin top. It's getting better. If the waist is loose, I don't have any.
Last night we had to wear khakis for a work function and the only pair I have is an old pair I bought in a 4 that was tight even way back then. Since they were still a bit tight in the waist, they gave me the dreaded muffin. Oh well, maybe in another ten weeks, they will fit right.
I might toss up a pic this weekend. If not, next week.

Amy - End of Week 8
Week 8 is over! This week 1 day cardio, 1 day weights. I missed Thursday due to a bad leg cramp. I did run a mile when I got home on both weight days. And this morning I did a 3 mile run with NO STOPPING - my first 5k ever - I am so happy!!!!!!!!!! It wasn't all flat surfaces is a good portion of it is uphill.....
I am up about 6 pounds since starting the program which I keep telling myself is muscle, but I really don't want to gain anymore. I am hoping the increase in cardio will help. I might even throw in a few extra miles here and there in the pm when I get home from school as the weather gets nicer.
This week most of the members are on a cleanse and we can only eat natural foods, no processed stuff or at least as little as possible. This is day 3 of the cleanse for me; the whole thing lasts a week. I felt smaller this am so I weighed, but was up a pound. It really makes me wonder how little muscle I had when I started the program.
I do think I am going to back of the weight days a bit. On the weeks where there are 3 weight days, I am only going to go twice and probably just go for a run that day instead. I don't think we get enough cardio regardless of what they say.

Amy - End of Week 7
Well I have arrived at the end of week 7. No pic this week because I got to the gym late and now there are people in the house working on some small jobs. I took a personal day, so I decided to sleep in and enjoy an 8:30 workout as opposed to 4:30. It's a lot nicer to work out at 8:30 than 4:30.
This week, 2 days of cardio, 2 days of weights. My trainer has commented that I am looking really good and my legs are looking nice. Of course he has not seen my legs without clothing! It's nice though because a trainer doesn't say things like that to boost your ego, so I must be looking better.
I still have not lost the 5 pounds I gained when I started the program. I am fine with that. I would rather be 5 pounds heavier and athletic than 5 pounds less and a couch potato.
I can now do 25 REAL pushups before my arms give out. When I started I could only do one; or maybe half of one. I can do 200 pushups with my knees on the floor. I can do tons of ab moves I never have done in my life including full, real sit-ups with nobody holding my feet.
I can lift 240 pounds on the quad machine - interestlingly enough that's what I used to weigh.
Lots of accomplishments and it's only week 7. I look forward to seeing week 20. I may even sign up for another round of torture when it's all said and done......

Amy - End of Week 6
Another week has come and gone. This week was 2 days arms, 1 day lower body and 1 day cardio. I missed cardio yesterday b/c I was exhausted. I did go for a bike ride with Aiden after school; not the same but something. Today I have an annoying headache, but I still went. Someone at work told me they couldn't believe how much smaller I looked when I was small to begin with. Yes, clothed I am feeling much better. I still have work to do, but I have a lot of time left and with every week I get better!
